Climate Information Integrity

We are proud to announce that we were approved and are now listed on the website of the Presidency of the Republic of Brazil.

Launched in July 2025, the Call to Action invited stakeholders from diverse sectors, including the private sector, civil society, academia, governments, public institutions, and international organizations, to submit concrete actions aimed at promoting the integrity of climate information. These proposals included practical tools and information resources designed to strengthen the quality and reliability of climate-related communication.

More than 217 proposals were submitted, and 123 were approved, representing 27 countries: Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Guatemala, India, Italy, Kenya, Mexico, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Peru, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and Vietnam.

The results of the Call will be presented as a Solutions Bank within the Granary of Solutions, a portal created by the COP30 Presidency to showcase practical initiatives that generate real results across all 30 Key Goals of the Action Agenda—including Key Goal 30, which focuses on climate information integrity.

This Call to Action was promoted by the Global Initiative for Climate Change Information Integrity. All proposals were evaluated by the Brazilian government, which serves as Co-Chair of the Initiative's Steering Committee, based on pre-defined evaluation criteria.

By bringing together efforts that transcend borders and sectors, the Call to Action marks a fundamental step toward building a global movement for climate information integrity. It reinforces the shared commitment to promoting a healthy, well-informed, pluralistic, inclusive, and democratic public debate on climate change.
