The Green Amazon News is entering a period of restructuring. Starting November 10, 2025, the newspaper will return with a new editorial rhythm and its own independent news curation.
We’d also like to inform our readers that we are not affiliated with Presse News or Agence France-Presse. From now on, all published content will come from independent reporting, selection, and production, with a strong focus on sustainability, ecology, and climate change.
The newspaper will now be published in two languages only — Portuguese and English — since most of our multilingual readers in Germany and abroad also speak English.
The Green Amazon News is an independent project created and maintained by me, [your name], who works as editor-in-chief, reporter, photographer, and content producer. For over a year and a half, I’ve been running this newspaper without sponsorship, publishing daily, seven days a week, with the kind support of our opinion column contributors — and driven by a deep passion for environmental journalism.
It was because of this project that I decided to go deeper into journalism, starting journalism and environmental journalism courses, including ones in English, focused on the digital media landscape, to offer readers increasingly ethical, relevant, and professional content.
Now it’s time to pause, reorganize, and come back with even greater purpose. I count on the understanding and support of all readers and partners who believe in the power of information and sustainability.
See you again on November 10, with a renewed rhythm and plenty of new stories! 🌎💚
